1930's
- Film stars Cesar Romero, Boris Karloff, Marjorie Gage, Emily Lane, Mary Alice Rice and Polly Rowles attended Crossroads' pre-opening and opening festivities in 1936.
- Consuls of six nations - Venezuela, Italy, The Netherlands, Nicaragua, Ecuador and New Zealand - visited Crossroads and posed for a photo the day before the complex's grand opening.
- WC Fields, Robert Benchley and F. Scott Fitzgerald had offices at or often visited Crossroads in the 1930's.
- Famed artist and potter Beatrice Wood had one of her first studios at Crossroads of the World.
1940's
- Alfred Hitchcock had his offices at Crossroads in the early 1940's.
1950's
- Billboard magazine published its entertainment sheet from Hitchcock's office suite at Crossroads in the early 1950's.
1970's
- Famed recording engineer Wally Heider set up his mobile recording and lab headquarters at Crossroads, and re-invented the art of live rock and roll concert recording.
- Frequent visitors to Crossroads over the years have included members of the Eagles, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Dan Fogelberg, the Pointer Sisters, members of ELO, Ringo Starr, Bonnie Raitt, Rod Stewart, Jimmy Buffett, Melissa Manchester, members of The Go Go's, Lou Rawls, Fabian, Bette Midler and Sarah Brightman.
- Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young recorded many of their best-known and best-selling albums at studios the group custom-built within one of Crossroads' buildings.
- Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt rehearsed at Crossroads, and their managers had offices in the complex.
- Warren Zevon also had offices at Crossroads.
1980's
- Tim Burton had offices at Crossroads during the production of his film "Beetlejuice."
- Don Grady ("Robbie" in "My Three Sons") and Rob Lowe had offices at Crossroads in the mid 1980's.
1990's
- Scenes from well-known movies "L.A. Confidential" and "Indecent Proposal" were filmed at Crossroads.
- Stella Ruata of Artistic Beads, the talent behind beaded garments worn by Michael Jackson, Broadway performers and many super-stars, was a tenant at Crossroads for over 20 years. Some of Stella's handiwork included Michael Jackson's glove; a U.S. flag flown at the front of Crossroads; gowns custom-made for designers Bob Mackie and Galanos; costumes for the many Broadway shows including The Producers, Mama Mia, Spam A Lot and Phantom of the Opera; and presidential inauguration ball gowns for Mrs. Reagan and Mrs. Bush, which are now on display at the Smithsonian.
- Many world-renowned recording artists have recorded and mixed their albums here including Melissa Etheridge, Fleetwood Mac, Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle, BB King, and The Stylistics.
2000's
- Aretha Franklin's live performance at President Obama's inauguration was recorded and mixed at Crossroads.
- 14 episodes of The History Channel's "Declassified" hit series were produced at Ten Worlds Productions, located at Crossroads.
- Comedian Lewis Black and Jeff Lynne (of ELO and The Travelling Wilburys) often visit Crossroads.
- Randolph Duke, famous designer to the stars and commentator for the Academy Awards, had offices at Crossroads.
- Writers of the late night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! often wander around the complex.
- Taschen Publishing, along with with Vanity Fair and Fendi, hosted a fund-raiser at Crossroads benefiting the Los Angeles Conservancy and launching Jim Heimann's book "Los Angeles: Portrait of a City." At this gala event, close to 500 guests mixed with celebrities and cultural icons including Diane Keaton, Hugh Hefner, Kelly Lynch, Gabrielle Union, David Hockney, Bret Easton Ellis, David LaChapelle, real-life "Gidget" Kathy Kohner Zuckerman and model Peggy Moffitt, famous for posing in 1964 in Rudi Gernreich's topless swimsuit.
2010's
- Television show Dexter filmed here in 2010.
- Muppets Movie filmed here in 2010.
- Crossroads of the World is featured in a 20 minute segment on Visiting with Huell Howser.
